WTF WHERE'S MY POLISHED DRACONIAN DEFENDER BLIZZARD Y U LIE
Horde lovers
I was just talking to a GM about Be Raptor two days ago. Nice to know they got on that quickly. I was super pissed about it, but they actually fixed it ^^ Way to go Blizz!
Nether Tempest nerf was ok. It was kind powerful, but Living Bomb? No one used it att all in PvP (expect me). I would have understood 85% down from 100%. I'm going to QQ but still its little too much...
Was I the only one half expecting to see a bug fix to the heroic dark animus encounter? Not saying that there's a bug but the world's top guilds look like they've all hit the same blockade.
Wow, nerfing Living Bomb, but leaving Frost Bomb with the buff it didn't need? Also, no fix whatsoever to shield slam's OP damage for levels 10-89. I'm convinced they just throw random ideas in a hat, then pull a few out and make changes that have no bearing on anything that actually needs fixing.
Your QQ is justified in my opinion. Makes no sense to nerf living bomb and buff frost bomb which they did with 5.2. They seem oblivious to reality.
Read the hotfix notes more closely. When all three mage bombs got their 40% buff, Frost Bomb (alone of the three) had a PvP-specific nerf to it (60% of its normal damage in PvP). Now the other two bombs are getting a LIGHTER PvP-specific nerf (70% damage in PvP instead of 60%).The end result is that all three bombs were buffed equally in PvE, but the net change in PvP is that Living and Nether are roughly unchanged, while Frost Bomb gets a true nerf -- not a buff! The number crunching:Frost Bomb: 60% of 140% means Frost Bomb deals 84% of the damage it used to deal in PvP.Nether/Living Bomb: 70% of 140% means they deal 98% of the damage they used to deal in PvP.
